Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Project Director for its Aviation Division. This role directs day-to-day field operations on large, complex airport projects and collaborates on business development, contract reviews, and strategic planning.

The ideal candidate has a BS in construction management or engineering, 10+ years in aviation construction, and proven leadership across terminal/concourse development. Willingness to travel and relocation is required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of aviation construction experience with proven leadership on large-scale airport projects.
Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
Willingness to travel or relocate as required for project execution.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training is required (may be obtained within first year)

Responsibilities

Serve as the Sr. project manager on large, complex projects.
Review jobsite progress and attend OAC meetings with project team.
Oversee safety, startup activities, hoisting equipment, planning and scheduling, and quality control.
Review subcontractor performance and cost for each line item against budget.
Lead business development efforts and foster relationships with stakeholders.
