Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Regional Project Manager (Project Executive) for the Aviation Division. The role directs the day-to-day field operations across multiple projects and drives safety, schedule, cost control, and quality with project teams and subcontractors.

You will build relationships with owners, design teams, and suppliers, lead business development efforts, review budgets and change orders, and promote Austin’s ESOP ownership culture.

Qualifications

• B.S. in construction management/science, engineering, or relevant discipline strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Generally requires 15+ years of combined project management and field operations experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required (may obtain within first year of employment).
• Ability to build and lead high performing teams at multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong internal and external relationship building skills with project teams, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, etc.
• Demonstrates a high propensity for negotiating the best possible business deals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control day-to-day field operations of the company on multiple projects.
• Lead management activities across safety, startup, hoisting, planning, scheduling, quality, subcontractors, buyouts, change orders and costs.
• Establish and maintain liaison with officers and directors to negotiate and cultivate new work prospects.
• Participate in business development and may join the Austin presentation team.
• Review final cost estimates and align with budgets; assist in expediting approvals when needed.
• Collaborate with Risk Management to ensure insurance compliance and risk controls.
