Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Project Director for its Aviation Division in the Fort Worth area. The role leads a large, complex airport project and may supervise additional projects, coordinating safety, scheduling, and quality while guiding subcontractors and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in aviation construction, terminal and concourse development, and excellent communication skills to drive successful outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of aviation construction experience with leadership on large projects.
• Expertise in terminal/concourse development for airport operations.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel or relocate as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior project manager for a large, complex aviation project and oversee other assigned projects.
• Review site progress, safety practices, startup activities, and equipment planning with the project team.
• Lead subcontractor performance, cost review, and change order execution to protect schedule and budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, clients, and regulators to advance project goals.
• Support business development and stakeholder engagement for future opportunities.
