Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to lead our national aviation program controls practice. You will guide cost, schedule, risk, and performance analytics across large, multi‑phase airport projects from planning through closeout.

The role requires deep expertise in CPM scheduling (Primavera P6), EV and forecasting, and governance. You will mentor teams, manage client relations, and contribute to proposal pursuits, with a strong focus on delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive project controls experience supporting large capital programs.
• 8+ years of experience managing project controls teams on aviation, transportation, or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting complex aviation projects including airport terminal expansions, airfield improvements, baggage handling systems, landside facilities, and modernization programs.
• Extensive knowledge of Cost Engineering, CPM Scheduling, Risk Management, Change Management, Forecasting, EVM, Governance, and Performance Reporting.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls functions across large‑scale aviation programs from planning through closeout.
• Establish governance frameworks, procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Serve as primary advisor to project managers, executives, clients, and stakeholders.
• Develop integrated project controls strategies for cost, schedule, risk, forecasting, and performance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, opportunities, and performance challenges.
• Direct the development and management of budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and cost reports.
• Perform cost trending, EVM, variance analysis, and EAC forecasting.
• Review contractor payments, change orders, estimates, and cost proposals.
• Support contingency planning, financial reporting, and executive decision‑making.
• Oversee CPM schedules using Primavera P6; review schedules for compliance.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards; provide executive reporting.
• Mentor and develop project controls professionals and analysts.
