Job summary

HNTB’s National Aviation Planning + Environmental Planning Practice in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Aviation Planning to lead multi-disciplinary workstreams shaping the airports of tomorrow.

The role requires extensive aviation planning expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering large, complex projects on time and on budget. This position is based in our San Francisco office and offers the opportunity to influence major infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Engineering, Geology, Biology, Environmental Science, Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field and 12 years relevant experience
• 4 years of successful management of projects
• Master's degree in related fields preferred (per ad)

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotation and assist in proposals and contracts
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets
• Lead and prepare design documents, technical plans, and written reports
• Implement project delivery plan using SDA and develop/execute project management plan
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, development, retention, and performance reviews
• Collaborate with Client Service Leaders on business development and client relations
• Lead proposal development and interview presentations for mega projects
