HII Mission Technologies in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Senior Aviation Maintenance Specialist to provide technical and logistic support for MAD, AFLCMC, and RED programs. This role involves managing aircraft parts, COSIS, and coordination with Army and Air Force stakeholders.

Responsibilities include analyzing logistics, supporting engineering repair development, and ensuring compliance with DoD aviation standards. Candidates must have DoD Secret clearance and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 7 years of experience with a Masters; 11 years of experience with an Associates; or High School Diploma or equivalent with 13 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in managing work in progress, material/component availability, data analysis, logistic challenges, and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with Aviation Logistics Management processes, requirements, and standards.
• Proficient with utilizing warehouse support equipment and the ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Experience providing analytical and logistics support for a DoD aviation component.
• Aircraft maintenance experience.
• Aviation component and system quality inspection experience.
• Proficient in writing detailed technical substantiation analyses, reports, and briefings.
• Possess strong listening, written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, repair manuals, and technical reports.
• Proficient in MS Office and related software/programs.
• Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and logistical support for the MAD, AFLCMC, and RED Air Force Liaison Office (AFLO) programs.
• Support RED and AFLO leadership with expert advice, analysis, research, and technical guidance related to aviation technical and logistic solutions for rotary aircraft or unmanned aircraft systems.
• Manage aircraft parts and logistic material stock Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) to help the Army and Air Force avoid wasteful replacement costs, support the depot aircraft and component overhaul repair lines, and prevent sending non-issuable mission‑critical items downrange.
• Manage incoming and outgoing aircraft parts processing, receiving, shipping, and reporting.
• Provide analytical and logistics support for engineering repair development, technical evaluation, and advanced manufacturing projects.
• All candidates will be subject to a pre‑employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
