Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Aviation Logistics Specialist to provide technical and logistical support for DoD aviation programs, including MAD, AFLCMC, and RED Air Force Liaison Office. You will analyze logistics data, manage COSIS, ensure parts availability, support depot repair lines, and help prevent wastage while coordinating with engineering and field teams in Corpus Christi.

Qualifications

• 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field
• Proficient in managing WIP, material availability, data analysis, logistic challenges, and reporting
• Familiarity with Aviation Logistics Management processes, requirements, and standards
• Proficient with warehouse support equipment
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Experience providing analytical and logistics support for a DoD aviation component
• DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
• Experience reading engineering drawings and repair manuals
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and logistical support for MAD, AFLCMC, and RED Air Force Liaison Office programs
• Support leadership with expert advice, analysis, research, and technical guidance on aviation logistics
• Manage aircraft parts and COSIS stock
• Help avoid replacement costs and support depot repair lines
• Prevent non-issuable mission-critical items from being sent downrange
• Manage incoming/outgoing parts processing, receiving, shipping, and reporting
• Provide analytical and logistics support for engineering repair development and advanced manufacturing projects
• Support multiple DoD aviation programs and divisions
