Job summary

Amerijet International is seeking a qualified Engineer to ensure airframe, engine, APU, and component reliability and to develop technical data and repair specifications. The role reports to the Director of Technical Services and involves coordinating engineering actions for major repairs and alterations.

Key duties include reviewing reliability data, developing engineering orders, and ensuring compliance with FAA directives and OEM manuals. Travel and overtime are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or Engineering, and/or Certification in Aviation (e.g. A&P license).
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving maintenance and system issues.
• Working knowledge of schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiar with FAA Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Supplemental Type Certificates Fleet specific OEM Manuals.
• Thorough knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to operational departments and repair providers to support aircraft operations, engine repairs and/or maintenance.
• Review reliability data and implement corrective actions via engineering modification or repair documents.
• Establish build standards and specifications for engines, APUs and components.
• Develop engineering orders for major and minor repairs, modifications and alterations.
• Manage changes to maintenance procedures per OEM manuals and ETNs.
• Coordinate engineering functions with regulatory agencies for approvals of major repairs and alterations.
