Job summary

Amerijet International is seeking an Engineer responsible for technical standards and reliability across airframes, engines, APUs, and components. You will plan, coordinate, and perform engineering tasks, develop orders, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing reliability data, issuing maintenance actions, and maintaining build standards. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential; travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering; aviation certification preferred.
• Familiar with troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues.
• Knowledge of FAA Directives and aircraft maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to support aircraft operations and maintenance.
• Review reliability data and implement corrective actions via engineering modifications or repairs.
• Establish build standards and specifications for engines, APUs, and components.
• Develop engineering orders for major/minor repairs and alterations.
• Manage changes to maintenance procedures per OEM manuals and ETNs.
• Issue fleet directives and special maintenance actions.
• Develop procedures to comply with airworthiness directives and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate damaged components and propose solutions within regulatory limits.
• Identify new technologies to improve performance and reliability.
• Review service bulletins and letters to determine applicability.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses for proposed modifications.
• Coordinate engineering with regulatory agencies for approvals.
