Job summary

Cordoba Corporation, a leading engineering and design firm based in California, seeks a highly experienced Aviation/Airport Senior Construction Manager (Terminal Concourse) to oversee scope, cost, schedule and interfaces for the program. The role emphasizes schedule certainty, budget delivery, and strict health, safety, and environmental practices on the project.

The Senior Construction Manager will coordinate with Design/Builder, stakeholders, and LAWA standards to mitigate risk and ensure

Qualifications

• 20+ years of airport project experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Certifications such as AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP optional
• Experience with projects over $100 million in value
• Experience with multiple delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR, Design/Build)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage and coordinate large teams and stakeholders
• Experience with airport concourse scope or related facilities

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-site field construction activities through project completion
• Ensure work follows approved plans, ASRs, and proper notifications
• Coordinate with Design-Build and stakeholders on project planning and milestones
• Monitor budget, staffing, and resource allocation to meet goals
• Ensure quality control and safety practices meet standards
• Prepare progress reports for senior management and clients
• Review contractor claims and negotiate resolutions
• Lead coordination meetings with stakeholders and partners
