Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Senior Buyer/Planner to support a leading aviation organization at the Opa-locka Service Center in Florida. The role focuses on ensuring parts and materials are available at the right time and cost to support aircraft service center operations.

Responsibilities include managing core and warranty issues, coordinating with suppliers, and applying forecasting to maintain material availability.

Qualifications

• Experience with aviation materials and parts.
• Experience using MRP systems for planning and tracking.
• Ability to forecast inventory and analyze demand.
• Strong supplier coordination and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage core and warranty issues and supplier programs.
• Initiate stock transport orders based on inventory needs.
• Coordinate with external vendors on warranties and programs.
• Verify supplier pricing against contracts.
• Negotiate timely deliveries to meet operations.
• Monitor inventory requirements and apply forecasting.
