Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience preferred, or 7+ years relevant work experience in lieu of education.
• Experience managing a purchasing portfolio in a global, multi-functional environment, including complex tax, regulatory and industry-specific requirements.
• Strong analytical and communication skills that can influence and drive decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and meet tight timelines; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine material requirements using ERP data and other sources.
• Identify suppliers and pricing; issue purchase or repair orders to suppliers.
• Prioritize orders and shipments to satisfy needs (Normal, expedite and AOG).
• Support inventory counts, reconciliation, investigations and surveys.
• Manage repair orders to meet system requirements.
• Ensure purchased/repaired/rented parts have appropriate regulatory documents.
• Manage supplier performance and corrective actions; handle supplier claims and warranties.
• Participate in creation and negotiation of new contracts; oversee contract obligations.
