Job summary

Future Aviation, Inc. in Southwest Florida is seeking a Purchasing Agent to join the Purchasing Department to manage order placement, expediting and tracking, price negotiations, vendor relationships, and process improvements.

The role supports determining inventory levels based on product life cycles and requires strong Excel/ERP skills, with 3+ years in material planning or purchasing and a preference for an AS degree. This full-time position operates Monday–Friday, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum AS degree would be preferable.
• Minimum 3 years material planning/buying experience required.
• Certificate in Purchasing / Material Management a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Control the materials logistics flow from order placement to parts on the shelf for Future Aviation Inc.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and manage delivery schedules for on-time execution.
• Negotiate with manufacturers and distributors to support purchasing goals and cost savings.
• Aim for lowest possible cost for material while balancing quality and schedule needs.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and related notices and acknowledgments.
