Job summary

Jet Avion in Hollywood, FL is seeking a Senior Technical Buyer to lead the company’s supply chain strategy. The role encompasses supplier identification, negotiation, inventory control, and coordination with quality and engineering to ensure compliant, timely deliveries.

You will manage purchasing and material management activities, analyze data to spot trends, and drive process improvements that boost agility and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in operations roles with 3+ years in supply chain
• Experience with purchasing and materials management best practices
• Aerospace experience preferred
• Experience with QMS systems including ISO9001 or AS9102 preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage suppliers from RFQ to delivery including price negotiation
• Inventory management and coordination to minimize excess and maximize order fulfillment
• Data analysis to uncover trends and support proactive inventory and demand management
• Drive communication between upstream and downstream stakeholders for optimal supply chain performance
• Champion opportunities for improvement and innovation within the supply chain
• Liaise between suppliers, quality, and engineering to ensure compliance and timely issue resolution
• Perform other duties as assigned
