Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an experienced administrator for enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments. You will manage data archives, AF models, PI Collectives, and PI Vision, while integrating diverse OT sources and leading reliability improvements.

The role requires strong scripting in .NET, PowerShell, and Python, with collaboration across IT and operations to upgrade infrastructure and implement scalable data pipelines. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, Asset Framework (AF), Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts, including identifying and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, with a primary focus on the AVEVA PI System and associated data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms, including SCADA systems, DCSs, RTUs, PLCs, and other data sources.
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex or unfamiliar OT systems with the AVEVA PI System.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate with IT and other stakeholders to implement infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and custom telemetry feeds to third parties using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
