Job summary

Invenergy LLC in the United States seeks a seasoned AVEVA PI System administrator to lead enterprise-scale data integrations and IT/OT collaboration. You will configure data collection, maintain PI components, and drive reliability.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, designing scalable architectures, and delivering automation with Python, PowerShell, and .NET across hybrid on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts, including identifying and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs, etc.).
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with the PI System.
• Administer and support PI components (PI Data Archive, Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
