Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an experienced OT systems specialist to own AVEVA PI System data integrations and maintain PI Data Archive, AF, Interfaces, and Vision. You will configure data collection from SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs and lead improvements to PI System architecture and reliability.

You’ll develop automation in Python, PowerShell and .NET, coordinate with IT and project stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers while onboarding new project startups.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, Asset Framework (AF), Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts, including identifying and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, with a primary focus on the AVEVA PI System and associated data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms, including SCADA systems, DCSs, RTUs, PLCs, and other data sources.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate with IT and other stakeholders to implement infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
