Job summary
Invenergy LLC in the United States seeks an experienced AVEVA PI Systems Specialist to administer enterprise PI environments, integrate OT data, and improve platform reliability for large energy projects. You will configure data collection from SCADA/DCS/RTUs into PI, maintain PI Data Archive, AF, Interfaces, and Vision, and lead architecture upgrades with automation using Python, PowerShell and .NET.
Coordinate with IT and operations for upgrades and onboarding of new projects.
Qualifications
- Five or more years administering enterprise AVEVA PI environments.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with .NET, PowerShell, and Python.
Responsibilities
- Act as SME for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI and data integrations.
- Configure data collection into AVEVA PI from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
- Maintain PI components: Data Archive, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, and Vision.
- Lead PI System architecture improvements and reliability initiatives.
- Develop automation for maintenance and telemetry using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
- Mentor junior team members and document implemented solutions.
