Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System administrator to support the PI System in Lexington, MA. You will maintain the PI System, document administration tasks, collect requirements, and translate them into deliverables while resolving complex issues with sound judgment.

Requirements include 5+ years PI System experience, PI System Accreditation, and the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance (US citizenship required). Some travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System experience with Data Archive, Asset Framework, Asset Analytics, and PI Vision.
• Associate degree in IT, Computer Systems, or related field.
• AVEVA PI System Accreditation.
• Experience with server/OS maintenance, including patching.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot and/or an approved AI solution.
• Ability and desire to perform training programs and certifications to extend job functions.
• Desired: Experience with Active Directory Security software.
• Desired: Technical knowledge of networks, firewalls, OT-IT network segmentation.
• Desired: Bachelor's or higher in Engineering / CS or related field.
• Desired: Azure System Administration or Solution Design/Architecture certifications.
• Desired: Experience integrating AMI or utility billing systems with AVEVA PI System.
• Desired: Building Automation Systems or HVAC integration with AVEVA PI System.
• Desired: Scripting or software development experience; PowerShell, C#, Python, Web development.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and maintenance for the customer's PI System.
• Document PI System administration tasks and procedures.
• Collect, refine, and document customer requirements.
• Translate customer requirements into project deliverables.
• Resolve complex technical issues requiring significant freedom of action and sound judgment.
• Multitask effectively and act with limited supervision.
• Support continuous flow of facilities and utilities data.
• Support integration of AMI meters and building automation system assets in PI Asset Framework.
• Provide IT system administration support to keep application components online and healthy.
• Support transition of the PI System from physical to virtual hardware.
• Provide hands-on customer support as part of a high-performing team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Some travel may be required, not exceeding 20% per year.
