Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an experienced AVEVA PI System expert to manage enterprise-scale data collection and integration. You will administer PI Data Archive, AF, PI Collectives, and related components, driving reliability and scalable architectures across OT networks.

Responsibilities include leading modernization efforts, collaborating with IT for upgrades, and building automation using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API and PI Vision.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, focusing on the AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms, SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs and others.
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with the AVEVA PI System.
• Administer and support PI System components including PI Data Archive, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Design scalable and maintainable workarounds for system limitations; develop automation for maintenance and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Coordinate with IT and stakeholders for infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain technical documentation.
