Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a senior AVEVA PI System Administrator to manage enterprise-scale PI environments, data integration, and system reliability. You will oversee PI Data Archive, AF, interfaces, and Vision while coordinating with IT for upgrades.

Required are 5+ years in PI administration, strong scripting skills in .NET, PowerShell, and Python, and familiarity with DCS/SCADA and networking concepts. This hybrid role reports to the OT/IT partnership team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and diagnosing communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, focusing on the AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms, including SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate with IT to implement infrastructure upgrades and maintenance.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Maintain technical documentation and support operations engineering with data pipelines and integrations.
