Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a senior AVEVA PI Systems Administrator to manage enterprise PI environments and drive data integration across OT platforms. The role focuses on configuring data collection, troubleshooting, and improving PI architecture to ensure reliability.

You will develop automation with Python, PowerShell, and .NET, coordinate IT infrastructure upgrades, and mentor junior engineers. The team operates in a hybrid setting supporting critical control center data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT sources (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with the PI System.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Develop automation and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Coordinate with IT to implement infrastructure upgrades and maintenance.
• Maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions and integrations.
• Support Operations Engineering with data pipelines and integrations.
