Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking an experienced AV Technician III to lead and support audio/visual systems across our property, including Crestron, AMX, Q-Sys, and digital signage. You will coordinate from proposal to implementation and training, and provide break/fix support as needed.

The role requires 5+ years in AV implementation and certifications (Q-Sys, Dante, Avnu). You’ll mentor junior techs, plan in-house AV strategies, manage inventories, and ensure high uptime and exceptional

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience Audio/Visual Implementation/Support (Advanced)
• Associate’s degree or equivalent and/or 8 years of experience
• Data Networking Fundamentals
• Q-Sys certification required
• Dante Level 1 & 2 level certification required
• Certification of Dante level 3 required within 6 months
• Avnu Certification required within 6 months
• Cisco experience preferred, CCNA certification a plus
• Optibase MGW 1000 / IIS / Crestron Programming / CoolSigns experience a plus
• ICIA CTS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead AV projects and ensure 99% uptime of systems
• Provide break/fix support and training to staff
• Mentor AV Tech I and II for skill development
• Plan in-house AV system strategies and design
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on AV services
