Job summary

Impyrian is seeking an experienced AV Service Technician to lead AV operations for Federal Government and commercial clients from Washington, DC, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will drive AV projects end-to-end, provide technical guidance, and coordinate procurement and service delivery.

The role requires strong client communication, hands-on AV expertise, and the ability to manage complex projects with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of AV project management with hands-on responsibility.
• 10+ years of AV technical experience or equivalent.
• Federal Government experience is required.
• Experience with video conferencing and hybrid meeting technology.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong English communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead AV projects from concept through design, procurement, installation, testing, and closeout.
• Provide technical guidance on conference rooms, video conferencing, and hybrid meeting environments.
• Manage customer relationships and communicate status, risks, and recommendations.
• Coordinate procurement, estimation, documentation, and vendor management.
• Oversee AV operations, preventative maintenance, and service delivery for Federal and commercial clients.
• Mentor and manage AV technicians and ensure quality deliverables.
• Maintain standards, procedures, and continuous improvement of AV services.
