Job summary

SIMStation is seeking a full-time Support and Staging Engineer in Carrollton, TX to support multiple phases of the client lifecycle, including service contracts, AV system staging, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and customer communication.

Responsibilities include technical support for contract clients, staging and QA of AV systems, project coordination, and producing thorough technical documentation. Growth toward a Team Lead role is anticipated within 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with advanced proficiency in professional audio‑video systems staging and support.
• Experience configuring and testing A/V and server/PC systems in a staging lab environment.
• Experience with AV over IP systems, including DANTE audio, network video switchers, and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of rack building, cable management, cable testing, certification, and labeling.
• Experience providing clients with high‑level remote technical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for service contract clients and high‑level remote support.
• Provide exemplary customer support and clear internal and external communications.
• Troubleshoot issues across AV, server/PC, networking, and SIMStation software environments.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot AV systems in the Carrollton, TX office.
