Job summary

SIMStation in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Support & Staging Engineer to deliver and support AV systems for healthcare institutions worldwide. You will configure, stage, test, and troubleshoot professional AV, server, and PC systems before deployment, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

You will work closely with customers and internal teams, resolve technical challenges, and contribute to documentation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with professional AV systems staging and technical support.
• Hands-on experience with AV over IP technologies, including Dante audio and network video switching.
• Troubleshooting across AV, networking, servers, PCs, and software environments.
• Proactive ownership and clear communication across technical teams.
• Interest in growing into a Team Lead within 6–12 months.
• Based in Carrollton, TX.

Working closely with customers and our internal teams, you will configure and test systems, resolve technical challenges, and ensure every installation is ready for a seamless customer experience.

Deliver Expert Support: Provide expert remote technical support for our customers.

Prepare Every System: Configure, stage, test, and troubleshoot professional AV, server, and PC systems before deployment.

Ensure Quality: Ensure every system meets SIMStation's high quality standards through detailed testing and quality assurance.

Collaborate Across Teams: Collaborate closely with Project Management, Engineering, and Field Services to deliver successful customer projects.

Create Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including network summaries, signal flows, and bills of materials.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Help improve internal processes, standards, and workflows while growing into a technical leadership role.
