Job summary

May Mobility is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer II to define, optimize, and validate next‑gen autonomous vehicle capabilities. You will bridge high‑level autonomy goals with concrete system requirements, designing scenario‑based test suites in simulated and on‑road environments, and building automated KPI‑driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
• 6+ years experience in automotive systems engineering and 3+ years in autonomous driving or ADAS.
• Strong knowledge of automotive and autonomous vehicle technologies.
• Experience developing behavioral simulations for AV or ADAS features.
• Experience with Python, SQL and data analysis tools (Pandas, NumPy, Spark).

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and manage system and capability-level requirements with end-to-end traceability.
• Conduct ODD and route analyses to shape AV driving capabilities.
• Ensure scenarios comply with industry standards and regulations (Euro NCAP, NHTSA).
• Drive and manage the driving simulation portfolio for comprehensive validation across the ODD.
• Craft test scenarios for evaluating autonomy features and on-road events.
• Analyze field events to identify simulation coverage gaps and create tests.
• Define simulation specs for cross-functional teams.
• Analyze results to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.
• Lead engineering process continuous improvement activities.
