Job summary

May Mobility in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Manager of Simulation Operations to lead scenario creation, testing, and quality control across its virtual testing ecosystem. You will oversee a hybrid team of engineers and contractors, driving operational excellence in regression suites and on-demand simulations.

You will build robust evaluation metrics, deliver actionable analyses to autonomy and product leaders, and accelerate workflows using AI tools and automated prompts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/OR Data Analytics or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in technical operations, QA/testing management, or data operations.
• 2+ years of direct people management overseeing engineers/contractors.
• Proven ability to establish operational metrics, QA frameworks, and executive reporting.
• Experience using modern AI tools to streamline workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end simulation operations across multi-cadence test suites with on-time delivery.
• Oversee intake, tagging, and maintenance of simulation scenarios from autonomy, safety, and product teams.
• Enforce QA standards on inputs, platforms, and outputs; design and track evaluation metrics.
• Synthesize raw outputs into concise summaries; identify regressions and trends for leadership.
• Identify and integrate AI tools and automated workflows to accelerate scenario generation and reporting.
