Job summary

May Mobility in Ann Arbor is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer II to lead the definition, optimization, and validation of autonomous vehicle capabilities. You will bridge autonomy goals with actionable system requirements, designing complex scenario-based test suites in simulation and on-road environments.

You will build KPI-driven reporting pipelines, ensure end-to-end traceability, analyze ODDS and routes, and drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 6+ years in automotive systems engineering with software/hardware integration.
• 3+ years in autonomous driving or ADAS systems.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and data analysis tools.
• Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and manage system requirements with end-to-end traceability.
• Conduct ODD and route analyses to shape AV capabilities.
• Develop scenario-based test suites for simulation and on-road testing.
• Build KPI-driven reporting pipelines and analyze results.
• Lead continuous improvement across engineering teams.
