Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Senior Audiovisual Support Engineer to design, implement, and support complex AV systems for an enterprise client. You will lead events, meetings, and daily operations while driving AV optimization and mentoring junior staff.

You will collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure seamless integration, manage vendor relationships, and stay ahead of AV trends, including AV-over-IP and cloud-based management.

Qualifications

• Expertise in AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX) and programming.
• Advanced understanding of audio, video, and networking protocols (AV-over-IP).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and configure comprehensive AV systems for various environments.
• Troubleshoot and setup for events, meetings, and daily operations.
• Lead AV projects, deployments, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Mentor Level 1/2 technicians and manage escalations.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for integration.
• Evaluate vendors, procure equipment, and manage contracts.
• Establish preventative maintenance plans and monitoring.
• Create documentation and reports on performance.
• Stay updated on AV trends and cloud solutions.
