Job summary

NCC is seeking an Audio-Visual Systems Engineer SME to serve as the technical authority for VTC, digital signage, and hybrid collaboration environments across the enterprise. You will own the architectural baselines, engineering integrity, and technical roadmap supporting 15,000+ federal workers.

Responsibilities include designing conference room blueprints, coordinating AV-over-IP with networks, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

• Master-level UCaaS and AV/VTC expertise required.
• Broad experience designing, deploying, and securing enterprise AV environments.
• Deep knowledge of Windows/macOS endpoints and identity management.
• Strong scripting/troubleshooting skills for multi-vendor systems.
• Experience coordinating with networks, security, and EUS teams.
• Proficient with project planning tools (MS Project) and multi-phase deployments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain blueprints for USPTO conference spaces and hybrid rooms.
• Engineer AV interfaces with backend IT infrastructure and QoS mappings for AV-over-IP.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 and DISA STIGs for firmware and UC apps.
• Serve as technical backstop; diagnose and resolve complex AV/VTC issues.
• Lead forensics on outages; document findings and remediation actions.
• Maintain onsite lab to test firmware, patches, and new hardware.
• Review and optimize control programming to unify user interfaces across spaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
