Job summary

TekSynap is seeking an AV Multimedia Engineer to join our team in Aurora, CO. We deliver AV/VTC/Multimedia solutions for Federal Government customers and maintain a fast-paced information management environment.

You will maintain and enhance AV/VTC/Multimedia infrastructure across sites, provide SME support to staff and leadership, and help train personnel on deployment and troubleshooting best practices. The role also emphasizes security posture and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in supporting professional AV/Multimedia systems.
• Experience with MDDS or similar enterprise AV systems preferred.
• Experience as escalation point and coordinating vendor support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update AV/Multimedia systems, including patches and upgrades.
• Provide enterprise-wide AV/VTC support and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Manage tickets in ServiceNow and ensure timely closure.
• Support wide range of AV equipment and network connections.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and verify fixes.
• Act as SME to NRO Information Operations and HQ for deployments.
• Provide training on deployment, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate impact of upgrades and mitigate downtime.
• Deliver advanced AV/VTC support and advise on strategies.
• Ensure systems remain secure by responding to CERT advisories.
