Job summary

FORTÉ seeks an AV Systems Engineer to support architecture, installation and planning of audio, video and control solutions. You will evaluate hardware and software options, read schematics, and collaborate with project managers and executives.

The ideal candidate holds CTS/CTS-D certifications, demonstrates strong communication and leadership, and can work independently. You’ll design integrated systems and contribute to sales proposals with an ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the service and installation of audio, video and presentation systems.
• Knowledgeable of control systems programming as well as CAD Software and drawings.
• Communication, leadership, customer relation skills, and the ability to work independently and to be self-directed have direct results on success in this position.
• Ability to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent.
• Expert level knowledge of videoconferencing products and unified communications technologies.
• CTS and CTS-D certifications are required with the right experience. Any other industry related certs or training are also a plus. (Ex: Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure etc.)
