Job summary

CENTERS, LLC is hiring a Manager - Audio-Visual to lead technology operations for the Mountain AV team at Pepperdine University. The role oversees AV event support, manages staff, and supports AV solutions for reliable guest-centered experiences at Mountain Waves Arena and related spaces.

The position is on-site at Pepperdine as part of a hybrid AV team, with responsibilities extending to after-hours events and collaboration with campus partners to ensure state-of-the-art event technology and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Five+ years of experience with live events, AV tech, production, or related fields.
• Two+ years of experience leading a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
• CTS/Extron/Dante certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for AV technology operations and event support.
• Oversee arena technology hardware, software, broadcast, and live event tech.
• Configure, test, troubleshoot AV and related systems for events.
• Coordinate logistics with campus partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor service quality and drive continuous improvement.
• Supervise assigned staff and student employees, including coaching.
