The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL), part of The New York Public Library, seeks an experienced AV/Stage Manager to oversee audio/visual production for events and programs, coordinate with staff, and ensure staffing and equipment needs are met.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will manage AV contracts, train technicians, and provide expert AV consultation across NYPL branches, while upholding standards for lighting, video, and accessibility services.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-5 years management/supervisory experience.
• 7-10 years working in audio visual settings and event productions.
• Experience directing and setting up video/audio for live streams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage AV equipment inventory, contracts, and scheduled maintenance.
• Train, manage, and schedule a team of AV technicians and hourly computer technology aides.
• Coordinate with colleagues on live event production logistics.
• Organize, schedule, and track accessibility services for programs.
• Make decisions related to production needs with Facilities and Security.
• Provide expert AV consultation to branch staff across NYPL.
