Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group seeks an Audio Visual Technology Manager to lead the delivery of world-class events at its Brookfield Place location in Manhattan. You will oversee AV Specialists, manage IT/AV services, and collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure seamless execution.

You will bring 4+ years of IT/AV experience, strong leadership, and expertise in Crestron systems, networking, and CRM tools.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in managing IT and AV equipment and systems.
Proven leadership experience in fast-paced hospitality or events environments.
Strong knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and conference technologies.
Familiarity with Crestron control systems and hardware endpoints.
Basic networking knowledge and ability to support Macs/ PCs and servers.
Experience with CRM tools and customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

Provide and manage AV/IT services for meetings, conferences, and events.
Oversee AV Specialists; train and lead staff in technical and guest-service excellence.
Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure flawless execution.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive quotes while maximizing revenue.
Manage planning meetings, pre-production, and on-site operations.
Support in budgeting, scheduling, and vendor invoices.
