Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group seeks an AV Operations Specialist in New York City to join the Midtown Manhattan team at Quorum by Convene. The role combines hospitality with AV/IT support, delivering meeting tech, conferencing, and event services for premium spaces.

The candidate should have 3+ years in AV/IT support, strong customer service, and familiarity with Crestron and other control systems. Base salary ranges $70k–$80k with bonus eligibility and full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience supporting AV and IT equipment.
• Customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of audiovisual equipment including analog/digital mixers, wireless mics, switchers and projectors.
• Basic understanding of Crestron and other central control systems.
• Basic knowledge of data networking principles and OS administration for Macs/PCs.

Responsibilities

• Provide ad-hoc troubleshooting and assistance to customers of all technology levels.
• Troubleshoot AV equipment including audio, video, lighting, and networking.
• Pre-program coordination with property teams to meet technology needs.
• Deliver excellent client experiences and collaborate with other departments.
• Attend planning meetings and support day-to-day floor operations.
• Maintain and uphold Convene's cultural standards.
