Job summary

Fort Lewis College is seeking a Senior Audiovisual Engineer to design, integrate, and support AV and automation in campus spaces. The role focuses on Q-SYS/QSC, Dante, HDBaseT, and live streaming for events, with duties spanning installation, programming, and user training.

The Senior Audiovisual Engineer will lead large venue productions, coordinate with PPS and TSS teams, and help update teaching spaces for Hyflex learning while maintaining accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or four years of related experience.
• Two years of experience with Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS or similar AV control systems.
• Familiarity with Dante audio protocol and standard AV technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, integration, and configuration of essential AV technologies in campus spaces.
• Lead large venue events with live streaming and complex audio production.
• Install, configure, and support AV equipment in academic spaces and at remote sites.
• Maintain and update the internal wiki with technical documentation.
• Provide training and support to faculty and staff on AV systems.
