Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a professional to lead the final testing and commissioning of complex AV systems during and after build. You will provide technical and managerial leadership on major tasks, ensuring goals meet project objectives and collaborating with the Project Manager to document test results from system testing and commissioning.

Day-to-day work includes reading schematics, testing point-to-point functionality, reviewing SOWs for quality, and troubleshooting AMX/Crestron and DSP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with AV installation and system testing preferred.
• Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Test point-to-point functionality of systems.
• Review SOW to ensure quality and completeness of installation.
• Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting for AMX/Crestron and DSP systems.
• Field installation of control programs and upload/download capability.
• Write code for DSP systems and perform minor programming changes.
• Fine tune AV systems for optimal performance.
• Configure IP addressable devices for network communication.
• Provide client training and final job documentation as needed.
• Act as customer liaison in absence of Project Manager.
