Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a skilled AV commissioning technician to complete final testing and commissioning of complex audio-visual systems both during and after build. You will lead technical tasks, set goals, and collaborate with the Project Manager to document test results from system testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, testing system functionality, reviewing SOW, and troubleshooting AMX/Crestron and DSP systems. Travel to various job sites will be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with AV installation/test is preferred.
• Able to read schematics and architectural drawings.
• Familiarity with AMX/Crestron control systems and DSP programming.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Test point-to-point functionality of AV systems.
• Review SOW to ensure quality of installation.
• Test integrated systems and troubleshoot AMX/Crestron and DSP.
• Develop control programs and upload/download capabilities.
• Fine tune AV performance and configure IP devices.
• Provide client training and final project documentation.
