Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a responsible role for final testing and commissioning of complex AV systems on customer sites. You will provide technical/management leadership, work with the Project Manager, and document test results from system testing and commissioning.

The position emphasizes hands-on testing, DSP programming, IP networking, and ability to travel to various job sites while supporting installation teams and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with test and calibration equipment.
• Ability to diagnose complex system problems and troubleshoot.
• Knowledge of IP networks and AV control systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electronic schematics and blueprints.
• Test point-to-point functionality of systems.
• Review SOW to ensure quality and completeness of installation.
• Test integrated systems and troubleshoot AMX/Crestron and DSP.
• Field installation of control programs – upload/download.
