Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an AV Test & Commissioning Specialist to lead final testing and commissioning of complex audio-visual systems across multiple sites. You will work closely with the Project Manager to document test results and ensure installations meet project objectives.

You will provide technical leadership on major tasks, leverage AMX/Crestron and DSP expertise, and travel to client locations as needed to validate performance and deliver a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong ability to read schematics and architectural blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Test point-to-point functionality of systems and verify performance.
• Review SOW to ensure quality and completeness of installation.
• Test integrated systems and troubleshoot AMX/Crestron and DSP systems.
• Field install control programs and upload/download configurations.
• Write code for DSP systems and perform minor programming changes.
• Fine tune AV systems for optimal performance.
• Configure IP-addressable devices for network communication.
• Provide client training and complete final project documentation.
• Act as customer liaison if Project Manager is unavailable.
• Create, track, and close a project punch list.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
• Support team with flexible tasks as priorities evolve.
