Job summary

HNI Corporation is seeking a Lead Workplace Audio Visual Technician to provide technical leadership and hands-on support for collaboration and audio-visual technology across showroom, conference rooms, and event spaces nationwide. This senior, customer-facing role ensures reliable, high-quality technology experiences for members, customers, and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in IT, CS, or related field.
• CTS/CTS-I or similar certifications preferred.
• 8+ years supporting enterprise A/V, collaboration, and end-user technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical resource for A/V and collaboration systems across showrooms, rooms, and event spaces.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize A/V equipment and conferencing systems.
• Establish room standards, baselines, procedures, and documentation for consistent support.
• Lead root-cause analysis for recurring issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Coordinate hardware/software upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle activities.
• Provide on-site or remote support for events, meetings, and deployments.
• Coordinate with Facilities, IT, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
