SanMar is seeking a Facilities III, AutoStore Technician to maintain and repair material handling equipment in a fast-paced distribution center in Ashland, VA. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with vendors to keep systems safe and efficient.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, with shifts 6am–2:30pm or 2:30pm–11pm and a $23.50–$30.30 hourly pay range plus a $3,000 sign-on

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4–6 years of facility maintenance, conveyor maintenance, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors, motors, bearings, and material handling equipment.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely.

Responsabilidades

• Perform repairs on material handling equipment and AutoStore systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and restore equipment to operation.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on conveyors and mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for maintenance projects.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure OSHA compliance.
