Job summary

AeroVect is seeking a Systems Engineer to own design, analysis, and verification of subsystems within our autonomous vehicle architecture. You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines to deploy autonomous driving systems and define KPIs for data-driven performance.

You will build data pipelines for V&V, maintain architecture artifacts, and mentor junior engineers. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with systems engineering, including the V Model, requirements documentation, traceability, and verification & validation.
• Basic proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience on autonomous or safety-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and verify subsystems within our autonomous vehicle system architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy autonomous driving systems.
• Define and track KPIs to support data-driven engineering and system performance.
• Build data collection and analysis pipelines for verification and validation processes.
• Author and maintain requirements documentation, traceability, and system architecture artifacts.
• Define system behaviors for safety scenarios and contribute to robust, well-reasoned designs.
• Surface risks early and coordinate solutions and mitigations with involved teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team engineering practices.
• Be open to travel up to 25%.
