Job summary

Waabi seeks a Senior Fleet Planner to oversee the operational orchestration of its vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal placement, timing, and coordination across vehicles, crews, and customers.

You will manage fleet execution across sites, forecast capacity, and drive improvements in workflows and tooling in collaboration with Engineering and Product. This role demands high ownership and a passion for autonomous operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fleet planning, asset management, or logistics coordination for Class 8 or autonomous fleets.
• Experience with fleet management and telematics/ELD platforms.
• Familiarity with full asset lifecycle of autonomous vehicle fleets.
• Ability to own recurring resource and capacity planning cycles and forecasts.
• Experience running recurring cross-functional meetings with clear owners and dates.
• Strong data fluency across systems to analyze performance and constraints.
• Experience partnering with Eng/Prod to define requirements and automate workflows.

Responsibilities

• Track every vehicle across its full lifecycle and operational status.
• Own day-of fleet execution and coordinate handoffs across teams.
• Monitor crew staffing against capacity and flag adjustments proactively.
• Develop plans, run weekly capacity forecasts, and provide executive analyses.
• Evolve fleet management tooling by defining business requirements with Eng/Prod.
• Connect data across systems to ensure accurate fleet data flow.
