Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward higher customer care. The role offers a $2000 sign-on bonus and a flat-rate pay model with earnings reflecting regional work and individual performance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brake, hydraulic, ignition, electrical and climate systems, with ongoing training and ASE certification support.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering and suspension.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications — brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Clearly explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; test fees paid by company; bonus for each test passed.
