Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Bel Air, MD, is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a shop team to deliver top-tier customer care. The position offers a performance-based, flat-rate pay structure reflecting regional earning potential.

Responsibilities include hands-on repairs, mentoring peers, ongoing training, and pursuing ASE certifications within two years. A valid driver’s license and ASE credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes/hydraulics and/or steering & suspension/alignments.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Clearly explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail; technicians receive bonus for each test passed).
