Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician in the United States to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward enhanced customer care and satisfaction.

The role involves staying current with automotive tech, mentoring teammates, and earning competitive hourly pay plus benefits. The position offers development opportunities, including formal training and ASE certifications, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Experience with brakes/hydraulics and/or steering & suspension/alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel, ignition and electrical systems, suspension/alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests and fees paid by company).
