Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Westminster, MD is hiring a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team delivering top-notch customer care. You will mentor technicians, and pursue ASE certifications within the first two years.

We offer a performance-based flat-rate pay model, comprehensive benefits, and paid training. Ideal candidates possess strong brakes, alignment, and tire repair skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers clearly.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
